Under the Energy Conservation Plan for 2015-2029 (EEP2015), the Thai Ministry of Energy aims to have 1.2 million electric vehicle on the road by 2036. This will also include the operation of 690 charging stations. The Energy Conservation Promotion Fund strongly encourages research and development of technology for energy storage systems.
